Background & Journey

My entry into the beauty industry began in 2003 โ€” initially while supporting my university education. What I encountered early on were the same gaps that still exist across the industry today: fragmented training, inconsistent client experiences, and operational systems built on habit rather than structure.

My academic background in Public Administration, combined with experience in research and structured organisational environments, gave me a framework for thinking about systems โ€” not just treatments.

After training formally across multiple disciplines in South Africa, I established a spa and training academy in 2009. That combination of running a live client-facing operation and delivering training in an accredited environment is where these systems were actually developed and tested.

Since then, the focus has remained consistent: build frameworks that work in the real world, not just on paper.
